My very first Bright Hub article!!!
Hi folks,
today, I've received an email telling me that my first Bright Hub article that I submitted yesterday has been published! Without any revision
requests!
I'm floating somewhere below my ceiling at the moment, celebrating with myself LOL ...
Wanted to share this with you as you have made this possible for me (without you and this forum, I wouldn't even know of Bright Hub).
http://www.brighthub.com/education/languages/articles/70436.aspx
THANK YOU ALL!!!

Thanks
When I read through it, I saw only two tiny changes (a letter and a comma too much) to my original text ... still can't really believe it *grin*

Right on! I will say that with some minimal promotion BH has given me some decent pv payment so don't forget to promote your article! (I looooove
getting paid repeatedly for the same work lol)

I'm already trying to promote my article through every means that comes to my mind ...
And I have been approved for another Channel in the Education Hub *big grin* -> Special Ed
Now I'm trying to figure out which articles to write next as I still have the cap of five articles ... There are three more I'd like to claim and
write but then I'd have three articles that are due on June 29th ... which means they won't be published this month even if they are ready and
submitted, right?
Thanks to you all for your congratulations!

That I know of, this is the first month that they have offered the next month's opportunities, so I'm guessing when I say that I doubt they will get
piblished this month. I did want to let you know about another perk of BH though. You can submit backlinks to your articles for $1 a piece. So, if you
have a site or a blog where you can post them, make sure that you sent the addy where they are posted to BH so they can pay you for them. The 5
article cap thing is only a few months old. You stay at that until you average 100 pvs per article.

Congratulations, Theresa! Great article.
I haven't done much with Bright Hub in quite a while, but I will when - and if - things ever slow down around here.

Congrats on your first article. The article was good and informative. I didn't see any grammatical error. The idea of positivie language
acquisition effects make sense, and I never thought or read about it before.

Since I am not qualified to write in the "easier to get articles published" education channels, I am pretty much limited to Diet and Nutrition,
Alternative Medicine, and Entrepreneur channels. Actually, I've only recently been writing for the D&N as I've tried to concentrate on one "hub"
because the editors want things totally different, and it gets confusing trying to add all their guidelines added to the totally different ones in
Break Studios and Textbroker.
Also, in D&N I am limited to 3 articles and not 5, but it's just been changed that you can claim more when articles are accepted. HOWEVER, no matter
how early in the month I've submitted my articles, the editors always seem to wait until the very last days of the month. So there isn't time to
claim more.
That can get very frustrating, so I have been writing just the 3 articles and concentrating more on BS and TB.

Article # 11 (yeah, I got to write 8 articles last month because they desperately needed more articles at the end of the month):

Theresa,
I totally understand. I used to write 30-60 a month for them. The only thing is that education topics don't get the pvs that video games and stuff
like that does. But still, it's cool. I only get 5 a month too, but my pvs do pay the phone bill
Don't forget to submit backlinks since they pay $1 each for those up to $30. That's just easy money!

Which backlinks get paid? I have no clue about that one ...
And do you know if the page views of self-published articles (those without upfront payment) are taken into consideration too when looking at the
average page views?

I think all the page views count in the average. The backlinks are pretty easy to do. Create a link and post it on a website. You can ask for other
sites to post your link, include it in an article or a blog. Social networking sites don't count.
Where ever the link is, it has to be relevant to the content there. In other words, you can't just post a list of links on your blog and turn those
in. But, for instance, if you wrote an article on tips for language learning and published it on AC, with your links to your article embedded, that
would count. Not only that, but you generate more traffic to your page that way and get paid from both sites
Personally, what I did was to create a free site through Google and posted most of my links there. I've been lazy and haven't been doing it lately,
but it really is easy money.
At the end of the month, you create a list. (I keep a running tab on Word) They like it if you jsut send them one list something like this
These links are located here (insert site url)
BH link
BH link
BH link
(you get the idea)
Then, email the list to reporting@editors.brighthub.com
Do it at the end of the month so that they get one every month and you get paid for it the next month
Hope that helps!
