for all writers who anxiously wait for results to be posted for Accentuate contests each time

I wrote this and posted it when we were waiting for results I think in one of the contests in the first book, Elements of the Soul, but we have a lot of new contestants since then who might get a chuckle out of this so I thought I would repost it.

Accentuate Contest Alphabet Poem

A is for anxiously waiting to see
B is for being impatient like me
C is for contest that has to be judged
D for decisions that move just like sludge
E is for everyone’s keyboards humming
F is for fingers nervously drumming
G is for going to sit here and wait
H is for hey the book will be great
I for impatiently watching the time
J is for judges who will vote for mine
K is for kissing them up with a bribe
L is for liking this accentuate tribe
M is for making the writers all pace
N is for now because I just can’t wait
O is for oh will we soon know
P is for this is so painfully slow
Q is for questions that drive Michy crazy
R is for refresh when we get really lazy
S is for sitting until butts are sore
T is for testing to see just once more
U is for urgently checking to see
V is for valiantly hoping it’s me
W is for wanting to win, place or show
X is exactly when will we know
Y is for yippee if I win the prize
Z for a zippidy doo dah that will arise

Wouldn’t Dr. Seuss be proud? LOL

Okay - that is too cute!

I might want to post that on the blog with your permission and a link to a site of your choice - we can use it to try to get folks to come and enter our contests!

Love and stuff,

That's priceless!!!

You are truly talented!! Love it!

I always had stories in my head and thought I was crazy. I now know those stories are called my muse. Just because I have a name for it doesn't mean I'm not still crazy.
