The copies to Amazon were sent last week - and I had to get supplies from the office store to get the books out to you guys, and since I've been alone
the last five days, that didn't happen (I don't drive anymore).... so I have the stuff I need and I just need to get them out to you guys - They
should be sent before the end of this week and you'll get an email when that happens from stamps.com (except Cindy, who might get one from me or might
not, depending on her email's mood).

No luck trying to set up my author account with Amazon. Can't find the rendezvous anthology anywhere.  Searched these:

We have no matches for Rendezvous+erotic anthology.
"Accentuate anthologies" gave only "Elements of time"
When searching erotic anthologies and "Rendezvous" there were 100 pages for each. I went through all with no results.
Can someone please give me the URL for the actual book so that I can set up the author profile, etc.

That is where I got all of the 'no results' responses. Here is what was returned when using the search you made;

AH... humm, okay. That might explain why they emailed me about no stock on it when I sent the book to them for stocking. How very strange.

This book has been more trouble than any of the others combined - the distributor is now saying they won't carry it, but they'll carry our others.
Amazon is wanting me to upload the text of the book to ensure it's not overtly adult content, which is not allowed on Amazon.
It's just a brick wall every turn on this one!
Also, Cindy, did you get your edits from me? With your email - I never know. I can send to the gmail account if I need to.

This may be more difficult than the other books but don't let it stymie you, the eventual profits may be more than all the other books combined. As
to the level of adult content: While searching through the 100 pages of books with the title 'Rendezvous' there were some that sounded pretty rank
(the 'Buttman' series comes to mind) so have the strength of your convictions that the effort will be worth it.

I have resubmitted this one to them with a new publication date - I updated the authors to remove the duplicate and add Cindy's pen name. That was the
problem with yours, Cindy. For some reason, I duplicated one writer's name where yours was supposed to go. You are on the book cover and in the
book.
It usually takes about 2-4 days or so for the changes I submit to update, so once the book updates, you'll be able to add it to your bibliography. And
Amazon is right - the book did have a different status just last week, and the five authors who claimed the book did so before the status change.
Lilah Harding contacted me last night saying the same thing you're saying. It'll be fixed probably by Monday.
As for the profit - I kinda think you're right. I do think this one will sell well. I just don't understand why it's been such a difficult project.
Anyway, at least the cover is up on the site now - they finally approved it! Yay! Small victories.
I plan to do an e-version of this one as soon as the paperback sales start to die down. I think this one will sell more as an ebook than the others,
because of the nature of it. You know, people who will read it on a Kindle or computer but wouldn't want to leave the book laying around the house
type of thing. I think that will maximize sales for the publisher and authors.

That cover isn't the one that's the final - that is the mockup - would never have used that horrible font for the names. When I made the mockup,
though, I wanted a fancy font to see what it all looked like. Anyway, I had had the mockup up on Amazon before I finished the real one, and I tried to
upload the real cover. Amazon rejected the final cover, something to do with size, and I'm trying to find out WHAT was wrong with it, but this one,
they let me put up on the site as a 'customer image'. So I just put this one back up, just to get something on there when I was resetting the
status.
Did I put your name up in the author names?
I know it's in the book, because the title makes me hungry (in a none sexual way!).... I have tried to upload the real cover again, so we'll see in a
day or two if they take it. I am missing two author names on the list, I know, but until they update the latest revisions I made, I can't add or do
anything to it. Since it's the weekend, it'll probably be Tues or Wed before it updates again.

It didn't have to do with the dimensions of it; it was the file size. I uploaded the .png version of the full cover that was designed to submit to the
printer, and it was too large of a file. They said they require smaller file sizes for faster load time for the customers. I've already resized it
with a lower quality image, which for an online version doesn't matter - it only makes a difference in print. It just takes 5-7 business days for them
to review it. I also have all the author names up on it and the description of the product up too. I need to upload it and fix it on our website as
well, and then I'm getting the digital version ready to go too for Kindle. Rendezvous will be our first Kindle book.
As for author kits, I"m still working on them. There simply are not enough hours in the day. My primary focus right now is finishing the editing for
EoD and getting the author bios from everyone. Once that's uploaded, then I will start the marketing and promotion kits to authors for both books. It
will be much easier for me to do the two books together, since the majority of what I need to do is the same, so I just send it out to all the authors
together.
Elements of Dimension will be going to print this week. The printer has already approved the cover. Once I upload the book block and it is approved,
it'll be a matter of days before we get the books and go, so I'm going to send out authors kit and promotional stuff for all four books - Elements of
the Soul, Elements of Time, Elements of Dimension and Rendezvous - and since we have small press distribution now, which will be starting in October,
and we're pushing to get listing with Anderson (wally world) and also with BAM - BAM rejected my first request, when we only had two books. I'm going
to try again since we'll have four.
I'll be sending more information. Right now, I'm literally pulling 20 hour days trying to get it all done, and I'm just beyond frustrated and
stressed, but excited about it all. I need to hire about 12 more people.... but I'm thinking they probably want to get paid, eh?
We are slowly but surely catching up though... some really good things are about to hit. OH, and I convinced the distributor to carry Rendezvous too!
They had declined it with the application. I need to upload our catalogue to the website as well... sheesh, does it ever end? Don't get me wrong...
I'm exhausted, but I'm loving it too.

Hey Michy,
Guess we are making progress since Rendezvous is listed as 'out of stock' instead of unavailable on Amazon.
I'm really curious about the delays. Not trying to hurry you since you have many irons in the fire and are battling illness as well. It just seems
odd that you have 400 books sitting around that you have paid for and many people willing to sell them but with no way to do so.
Another thought, even though you have paid the money for the stories the contract specified free copies for the authors. If you sent those out the
authors could sell their copies and that might motivate you to make them available on Amazon to recoup your investment.
