Do you believe in ghosts? I visited a haunted place - read more.
http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/5617060/galveston_texas_th...
Check this out and please leave me a comment - I'm going to visit the top ten haunted places in Galveston and write about each of them too, with my
own pictures and such, and this is the first article of that series.
Check it out!

Bring a compass and a digital recorder & camera when you go- the needle on the compass is supposed to spin near ghosts. If you feel a presence, break
out the recorder and ask the ghost to some questions and let it record for a bit. You might pick up a voice from beyond.
The camera is good for orbs or who knows what.

A good piece, M. One of my houses could be called a haunted place. In February I and my wife were victims of armed robbery, tied up to our airfield,
the bed. Two security guys down. Yet the thugs were too greedy and paid my neighbor a shooting visit as well, they all moved out in three days, and
put up their new beautiful house on sale. It's been quite a while. I sleep alone, and the Discovery Real Estate sign seems the only ghost around there
because nobody can see it, or wants to buy the property for the "certified haunted place" value. I just love to live there no matter what. My wife is
of a different belief.

I read that one! Awesome. I got notified of it. lol! I do believe in ghosts or spirits. I actually went on a tour here, which was kind of hoaxy. I got
some great photos of orbs. My fiance also got a photo of some strange figure that looks like a child-all in the same haunted park. So cool!!
Good idea for an article too. Along with the compass, you can use dowsing rods as well, but I find they aren't accurate. *shrug*

EMF meter for the win! Cool article! I've always been intrigued by this stuff, but it's kind of like heroin to me.
I'm curious about it, but not enough to risk my life.
I seemed to be looking down from an immense height upon a twilit grotto, knee-deep with filth, where a white-bearded daemon swineherd drove about
with his staff a flock of fungous, flabby beasts whose appearance filled me with unutterable loathing.

Interesting trip and experience!
I've seen a ghost before, so have no problem believing they are real.

Good stuff. I watched the show about that storm and that's what I was thinking, that there's a possible haunt there if anywhere. I'll be interested in
future articles.
I was fortunate to go to St. Augustine, FL, reportedly one of the most haunted cities. I even went to the light house TAPs investigated - and that was
a great show. I did not have any weird experiences there, but at the cemetery down the road, I could have sworn I saw a woman bending down over one of
the graves. The cemetery was locked up, and nobody was in there.

I left a comment on Michy's article, but didn't comment here. The hotel she wrote about, the Tremont, is where I, my family and a friend stayed when
we visited Galveston in June. It is a lovely hotel, but we didn't see any ghosts.

Next time you come this way, Nancy, you should stay at the Galvez... I'll get you a good rate too - holler at me. It would be great to finally get to
hook up with you for lunch or something. I'm sorry we had all the doctor's appointments last time. I'll be glad when those stop.
Love and stuff,
Michy

Where is the Galvez located? We all love Galveston so much we may come back next summer.
The rooms we were in usually went for $198 a night and we got them for $80 by naming our own price through Priceline.
