KU's New Per-Page Payout Thing

People have been talking about this everywhere, so I'm not going over the basics. I'm sure anyone who is self-publishing or plans to has read it all.

What are people's opinions? Is it worth it to still go for the borrows? Can shorts still be lucrative? (Won't people buy more shorts and read them to equal the word count of a longer work?)

I had a plan in place, and this is screwing with it a bit.

I won't do it. I decided long ago I would never give Amazon Exclusive rights to my work--as such, I'm not eligible for any of their 'special' stuff.
