2015 Accomplishments?

Okay, so maybe we didn't all get our goals met this year, but I'm willing to bet we all have had some minor successes this year.

What were they?

What projects did you complete this year or start and make progress on?

Share only the good stuff--no excuses, no diminishing it--just share!

Love and stuff,
Michy

I write over 70 pages in a new novel and wrote about 50 pages in a work in progress. I wrote a couple of short stories and submitting them to several magazines. Still waiting to hear from some of them, so there might be good news in the future!

I edited a novel that was about half finished so I could get back into the swing of things...

I have written a lot in my head. I know this sounds like a cop out but it's really not. I write sometimes in the my head first, then when I get the scenes just right in my head, I can sit down and pound out the words super fast, because I already know where everything is going!

I wish I had done more--but this is something! 2016 is going to be even better!

Still stuck with my first novel, but have been "writing in my head" a simpler one that combines sci-fi and history. Also, wrote I-don't-know-how-many pages for clients, especially NASA. Hope some of all that counts :).

Slightly related, I've been alpha reading novels for a friend, helping him identify inconsistencies, anachronisms, etc. as well as simple grammar issues.

I had 3 short stories accepted for publication, finished 2 novellas to publish in 2016, outlined every single zombie story in a collection (A to Z) and made about 20% more income freelancing than last year.

2016 is well planned too.
