I've actually used this one:
Cuddy: a small room, closet, or cupboard.

And I've seen this one on menus at fancy restaurants
Pot cheese: cottage cheese. Chiefly New York, New Jersey, northern Pennsylvania, Connecticut.



these are good for people who write period pieces and want to toss in some time-appropriate phrases or words.... good resource to keep handy.
