Welcome to the Accentuate Writers Forum!
We think you're really going to like our little forum here.
We like to think this forum is easy on the eyes, while allowing full HTML in the forum posts, as well as uploading files. We hope that some of you who
like to read and crit other people's work or share your own for feedback will enjoy this feature in the Workshop forum here and upload your documents,
making it easier for some to provide a thorough assessment in a document instead of on the screen, but you can still enter it on screen too - or both,
for that matter. The file upload also allows for sharing of pictures and other fun things.
Avatars are allowed, provided you have a hosted picture link. If you do not and want an avatar, contact Michelle L Devon (Michy) via U2U or email and
she will help you set up your avatar and host your picture for you.
You can place links in your profile and signature. We do ask that you keep your signature small so as to not take up too much room on the screen. An
inch or two at the max in height is more than enough to share what you need to share. If not, rotate your signature out regularly with new
information. This helps keep people looking to see what you say next! Please, be careful with HTML in the signatures as improper HTML can mess up the
forum formatting itself and one of the grumpy admin tech men will have to fix it. I have to deal with the and you don't, so be nice to the grumpy
tech gurus! WE love them - they make our board go vroom!
If you have any problems logging in to the forum, first try the password recovery tools here on the board and scroll through the member list to find
your user name. If that still doesn't work, please email Michy at michelle@accentuateservices.com and she will get back with you usually within one
business day.
Please leave any comments, questions or suggestions for the new forum on the forum thread where it is appropriate (ask a moderator, etc.)
If you find a spam post or a problem, this forum will also allow you to flag a post and report it to the moderators who will remove it or take the
appropriate action. Please do so as quickly as possible, because our board is indexed by Google several times per day and I do not want the spammers
to get back links from spamming our board.
We hope to make the forum a great place for you guys - so your suggestions are welcome and encouraged! In fact, there's even a place to post
suggestions on the board in the general writing area - all suggestions will be given serious consideration and implemented if possible.

IF you have any questions about how to do something on the new board. We will all be monitoring that thread to answer help questions about how to get
around or do things on the board or any known bugs the new board might have!

I hate having to admit this but I can't remember what the other forum looked like or anything else. Thats likely because I wasn't very active in
there.  sorry about that.
I have however been active these last couple of days here. I like this forum and promise to post regularly (or as much as possible). Keep up the good
work Michy
But I have a request to make to everyone else.
Post, Post, Post. Say something, anything. leave a new thread. How am I suppose to make fun of, tease or comment on something if there isn't anything
to post it to. LOL
