NaNoWriMo

NaNoWriMo. So, what's the topic. Is there even a topic?

Newb question. I've known about NaNoWriMo for a while, but never went for it. It's part of my nature to wait 'til the last moment. Eccentricy, you know?

Please and thank you much.

There is no topic. If you'll look at the website, you'll see that it's a challenge to write a 50,000 word novel in less than 30 days. The challenge started on Nov. 1 and goes through Nov 30th.

I've moved this post to another forum on the board.. there's an entire forum here for NaNoWriMo 2008, so if you search through those posts, you might get an idea of what all the others are doing.

I'm writing a fantasy novel this year... I'm a bit behind.

Michy, you threw me off completely. I forgot to refresh the page and didn't see my thread anywhere. I thought I was crazy for a minute. xD

Thank you. I suppose if I took my longest story... People like pulpish pirate stories, maybe.

Any who, thank you!

I try to keep my writing style towards the 1920's pulp-era as much as I can. I'm obsessed with it. Gritty and vibrant. Raw and alive.

It's a viable genre and some people really love reading it and writing it... it's not my cup of tea, but diversity is what makes the world go round!
