Critiques and Feedback Forum Now Password Protected

Under the WORKSHOP category, there is a forum called Critiques & Feedback.

It can be found here:
http://www.accentuateservices.com/xmb/forumdisplay.php?fid=58

I just wanted to let you all know, we have fixed this so that this forum is now ONLY available to registered users.

If you will log out of your account, go to the main page and try to view this forum, you will be prompted to enter a password. Without that password, no one gets in. This includes indexing bots and spiders, so none of your material in this forum will be indexed now.

If anyone posted there prior to this lockdown, you probably did get indexed in Google. It could take a month or more before that falls off Google, but rest assured that if someone clicks on the link in Google, they will NOT be able to see it unless they log in.

To get into the forum, you must type the following password: password

How's that for keeping it simple?

If anyone has any questions, please let me know.

People, the password is posted IN THIS THREAD. It's like two or three posts up.

On another note: Amy - I need you to reduce the height of your signature please. I've asked twice now, at least, and if you can't tweak it, I'm going to have to do it myself and I try not to edit anyone's account for any reason, but your signature takes up more than an entire screen and I have a large screen computer. I'd appreciate it if you could make it shorter please.

Umm... Just to let you know... I logged out of the forum. Shut down my browser and tried to enter without signing on, and it let me. You may want to look into that again. It didn't even ask for a password. It just took me straight in without signing on. The only thing I couldn't do was post a comment. But I could read whatever people wrote. Not that I am double checking your work, but I just thought you should know.

XZ, it's a cookie thing. Once you've entered the password to enter the Critiques/Feedback section, unless your cookies are cleared, you will still have access to that part of the forum without being prompted every time for the password.

My guess is, it's "only available to registered users" in that it will probably take a registered user to hunt for the password, and of course without being registered you won't be able to comment or post new material, anyway.

That makes sense. Thanks for clearing that up. I was hoping it was a simple thing, or something, because I got worried.
