We Didn't Make it BUT...
1o1 Best Websites for writers list has been made for 2009, and we didn't make it into any of the categories, BUT...
This was posted on their front page:
"Don’t see your favorite site? Send comments and nominations for next year’s list to writersdigest@fwmedia.com with “101 Websites” in the subject line
(deadline is Jan. 1, 2010)."
If anyone thinks it warrants it, please send in a nomination for your favorite site for writers, whatever that site might be.

Love and stuff,
Michy

Me too.
Kind of a cool list, though, lol!
I seemed to be looking down from an immense height upon a twilit grotto, knee-deep with filth, where a white-bearded daemon swineherd drove about
with his staff a flock of fungous, flabby beasts whose appearance filled me with unutterable loathing.

Thanks, guys. I mean, after all, we have paying leads, prompts, advice, hints and tips, a critique circle, contests... you name it.
I have seen a few of those sites and some of them I think we are better than, overall, so I hope we can at least get considered for 2010.
AW made it onto the list, but we beat them out in the P&E reader's choice thing.... we've got a shot at the list next year, I'm hoping.
Love and stuff,
Michy

It's very possible we were not nominated or were not nominated in time. The nominations would have ended January of 2009, and we didn't even move to
the new board and format until late-Jan 2009.

Michy

Rissa, that's because there is still time to nominate the board and the unseen gremlins of cyberspace are letting those who have not submitted a
nomination know they still have time.

It's happening to me too Rissa. Yesterday, it said Michy posted but there was no post. Weird.

Okay everyone. I sent in a nomination for this board. All nominations are due by Jan 1.
So come on, who else wants to send them an email nominating the board? The more the merrier!
Click on the link above and it has an email address to nominate- be sure to put 101 Websites in the subject line- or if you aren't in a clicky
mood...
