User CP question
I've tried a couple of times to add a signature (a quote, actually) and my picture that I put in the Intoduction forum as an avatar. I also changed my
password, hit edit and it said that my edit was successful. However......only the pass word seemed to work. (had to re-log in using it) But no
picture and no siggy. Weah, weah. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks!

Actually, the signature is working just fine.
As for the avatar, it has to be smaller than 200 X 200 from whatever link you use - if it's not smaller than that it will reject it.
If you know how to resize and uplpoad again to make it smaller than 200 X 200, do that, and then put the new link up - if you can't do that or don't
know how, I'll be happy to host it for you if you'll upload it here in the response - or email it to me, either way - and I'll get it up for you!
Love and stuff,
Michy

lol, Carrie, almost all of us had problems with our avatars! it gets easier. I think the first one I put up, someone actually did it for me cause I
didnt get it. I was putting up the wrong code or something. You'll get it!

(nodding) Jenn is right - I have resized and hosted tons of pics on the board for folks. I wish we had a better way of doing this, but for now, the
code is set the way it is. I'm working on the ability to let folks upload an avatar, but Ryan hasn't finished the code required. We should all bug him
until he does.
Yup.... everyone go send Dr. RT a U2U bugging him to finish the code!

Oh Gawd! I'm blind! I didn't see the siggy. I didn't see how to make it a different color either. I gotta go back and check that out. And I'll see
about that avatar. Thanks guys. I'm computer challenged too, I forgot to mention.

I knew it was small enough. I just didn't include the whole url thingy. Now if I could just make my siggy another color, I'd be all set to begin
learning about writing. Can't start till I get all that other stuff right. Right?

You have to use color codes for it. You can find the color codes here:
http://www.computerhope.com/htmcolor.htm
like this: blue blue
Only replace the [ with < and the ] with >
blue blue
purple purple
burgundy
Etc.
