Awesome, thanks for posting this.
We miss you at AC, by the way. . . I had to set up a new account here in the forum cause I forgot my old user name and password. I'm the artist
fromally known as Shanelle Diaz.
Anyway, sorry to get off of subject. . .this poetry contest is right down my alley!

Thanks... I figured everyone over at AC would forget about me...LOL I'm having more fun now that I don't have their stress and their forum on my plate
though. Sad that it ever came down to me having to leave, but you know, it was totally the right decision for me.
Glad to have you over here, again, though! Let me know how you do in the contest when you enter it!
Love and stuff,
Michy

I'm reading the past winners and giggling a lot. Some of these are great. I'm not sure I can write a humorous poem like that.

Is anyone going to enter this?
I"m trying to tell my brain to get 'funny' and it's laughing at me. I think it misunderstood....
I'm thinking along the lines of Shel Silverstein here, instead of trying to poke fun.
Anyway, someone going to enter? I'm thinking about it!
Love and stuff,
Michy

Damn ... I have lots of poems written but none is humerous ... brain, think! (I'd rather not tell it to be funny ... don't want my brain laughing at
me too ... )
Well, if I can think of anything humerous, I'll enter this one.

Just got the July Newsletter with this info "We received over 2,700 entries in our ninth annual Wergle Flomp Humor Poetry Contest, about three times
more than the prior year. Now that's a competitive contest! Find out who won in our next newsletter, August 15."
I have an entry in... still hopeful, but that's a huge field.

Here is the winners list
http://www.winningwriters.com/contests/wergle/2010/we10_pastwinners...
I didn't make it... o well, I thought I had a chance...
As usual, I'm confused. I've read several of the finalists and honorable mentions entries that don't seem at all funny to me.
I'm cooking for 15 at a campsite all week... probably won't have time to chat much.

You know, the judges of this contest like 'sex' innuendos. The winner this year and last year had pussy and penis and other sex innuendos in them.
Though I admit that last year's was a little raunchy, I found it hilarious.
This years was just raunchy for the sake of raunchy. I mean, really - fucked my g-spot? So I'm guessing the way to win is to write about sex for
them.

Ah... Well, that explains a few things. I was hopeful, but I'm not crushed.
