I has a question!

ok so I'm writing this nanowrimo thing and it's going pretty good. It's in the Satire/Humor genre..
go figure I know...

but I don't know if it's really funny...

Am I allowed to let anyone read it while I'm writing it?

Of course you are... Alpha readers are those people who read the book while you are still writing it, the ones who keep you spurred on to continue writing. Beta readers are the ones who read the rough draft after you've finished writing it, to help you get a feel for rewrites before you start to edit.

There's no reason you can't use both alpha and beta readers while you are and after writing your manuscript for NaNo.

You can also consider posting chapters or sections you're concerned about in the Critiques and Feedback section here on the board. It's password protected and not searchable on the internet, and you can remove it once you get the feedback you need.

Love and stuff,

I thought you could, but wasn't sure about the Nano part of it. Good luck with the book, Kena! Is that right for your name? I'm awful with names!

I'm pretty sure you can do whatever you want with it at all. The point is just to write 50,000 words in novel format.
